We here in Sand Point, Alaska are not ignoring the growing concern for impending exposure to the swine flu. I am meeting with city officials Wednesday to discuss a preparedness plan to address the possibility of swine flu hitting this small community. With two canneries that employ persons from all over the world, of course the concern is great as they prepare to have employees return for the next fishing season. Our goal is to reduce fears, avoid panic and provide the most up to date information from reputable organizations such as the CDC and Homeland Security.
SO, with that being said, we here at Sand Point are instituting the following policy immediately:
